1. Local browser data

SargamWorld may store preferences and session information in your browser, such as favorites, recently played items, queue state, onboarding preferences, selected player theme and related application state. This data is used to make the site function and is not intended to be a server-side music library.

2. YouTube services

SargamWorld uses YouTube services for search and embedded playback. When YouTube content or the YouTube embedded player is used, information may be processed by YouTube/Google according to their own terms and privacy practices. You should review YouTube's current policies for details about their processing of data.

3. Analytics

SargamWorld uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve the service. Analytics behavior is governed by the applicable Vercel documentation and privacy terms as well as the configuration of this site.

4. Search requests

Music searches are sent to SargamWorld's server-side search endpoint, which uses the YouTube Data API. The site does not intentionally store downloaded copies of the audio or video returned by YouTube.

5. Third-party policies

YouTube, Google, Vercel and other third-party services may have their own privacy policies and data practices. Those policies apply to processing performed by those services.

This page describes the current intended architecture of SargamWorld. It should be reviewed and updated if the site later adds accounts, payments, advertising, additional analytics, cookies, newsletters or other data-processing features.
